The Content Manager / Editor Role:
As Content Editor, you are responsible for understanding and representing our brands through best in class content strategies, planning, creative and copywriting. Your mission is to have a forensic knowledge of the brands you work with (their history, tone of voice, consumer, short-term goals and long-term ambitions) and connect this with audience insight in order to conceive and plan content with measurable impact.
+ Generating best-in-class brand content = you make sure we aren’t just copying what’s been done before, but generate content and campaigns that truly meet the desires and drivers of the audience, the objectives of the brand, and the ambition of the agency
+ Objectives focused content planning = you are responsible for the detail of content roll-out – from full- length videos to podcasts. You make a case for the content strategy and can justify why each piece of content is necessary for a particular client objective. You leave no stone unturned when it comes to content planning
+ Being a voice for our brands through content governance and delivery = you are a brand chameleon; taking on the voice of any brand and ensuring that this is upheld in all content deliveries – to client/into the audience team or with third parties. You ensure it is fit for purpose and quality control before it goes out
+ Being a thought leader on emerging content formats/trends = you are an expert in industry leading case studies – you have your finger on the pulse of content formats and the role of content in the customer journey, and can articulate these in a way that generates client buy-in
+ Understanding how different audiences engage and use content = you understand how different types of audiences engage and respond to brand content
+ Getting your hands dirty in, and overseeing content production = you are agile when it comes to content creation – you write posts, tags and are comfortable working with a Videographer/Photographer to get the content you need in order to execute your plan. You consider yourself a creative but you also know your limitations – you bring the right talent together to help deliver on your vision
+ Analysing the impact of your content = you are laser-focused on the impact of your content. You want to understand how it’s being engaged with and how to has helped achieve the objectives of the brief and client

In your current role you might be: Client-facing, part of a multi-disciplinary team, write and present your own presentations (plans, strategies and reports), juggling multiple clients and objectives, get stuck-in across both planning and implementation.
