About the Role
Our client are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to join them, this role is a fantastic opportunity for a creative marketing professional to develop a career in copywriting, SEO and product marketing.
You will be responsible for the management of onsite news and advice content, the delivery of SEO content campaigns (alongside an agency) and supporting the wider team with the creation of internal and external marketing and sales support materials. Supporting the Head of Digital Marketing with discovering new opportunities to rank for relevant search terms, analysing competitor sites to learn what they are doing to improve their rankings and their customer experience and helping with identification, definition and delivery of content related projects.
You will be a technically skilled writer with an understanding of SEO best practice and have the ability to produce copy for a range of different audience types, ensuring consistency in quality, tone and frequency of all communications across a variety of channels.
You will ideally have experience with social media monitoring tools such as Tweetdeck and Facebook for Business, and an understanding of technical SEO – schema, redirects, canonical tags, xml sitemaps and experience with competitor tracking tools (e.g. Hitwise, comScore) would be beneficial.
