Are you an ambitious and dedicated content writer with a proven track record of producing content in a B2B environment?

Would you like to work for a highly successful, well respected and growing team that specialises in helping businesses in the UK & Ireland obtain R&D tax credits and innovation grants? If that sounds exciting, they want to hear from you.

This employer is a well-respected and growing specialist R&D tax, video games tax and grant bid writing consultancy business. In addition to their consultancy service, they are also the owners of a successful tax website that is a fully guided online R&D tax credits portal that was the first of its kind in the UK & Ireland.

Due to continued success, the company now has an exciting opportunity for a talented Content Writer/Marketing Assistant to join the marketing team and help grow the business.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain a rolling 3-month content calendar that covers topics for all service areas
- Create original, targeted content including digital PR articles, company blogs, email newsletters, social media posts, case studies, website copy and more
- Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
- Create SEO optimised copy, including conducting keyword research and meta descriptions
- Co-ordinate with marketing to develop and maintain an active content marketing plan
- Analyse content marketing metrics and report on performance whilst also recommending changes as needed
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties for the marketing team

Experience & skills required:

Candidates for the role of Content Writer/Marketing Assistant must be a confident, self-motivated, results focused professional with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably gained within a business to business environment. Candidates must also possess:
- Educated to a degree level
- Knowledge & experience of best practice digital marketing, SEO copywriting & email marketing
- Experience conducting research using multiple sources to create original content
- Excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation
- The ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
- Excellent IT and web literacy
