Comparison Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter/Content Writer to join our in-house team who are solely responsible for all our content output. A fantastic role if you are looking to test yourself in two different industries, working with a variety of different copy. Your new role?
As our Copywriter/Content Writer you will be tasked with researching and writing about the energy and telecoms industries, finding new ways of promoting the same products and services in the press.
· Compose original and high quality content including press ads, guides, news and reviews, with the opportunity to write creative editorial.
· Edit and proofread content to ensure it’s at an exceptional standard.
· Research keywords, tailoring your content to particular search terms.
· Work with the content team to develop original content ideas and opportunities.
You will be a creative, versatile writer who loves linguistics and definitely knows their assonance from their alliteration. You’re someone who revels in working out how best to capture the attention of different demographics, and you enjoy everything from long-form articles to website microcopy.
· Degree or equivalent in English, or similar field.
· Impeccable spelling and grammar with a keen eye for detail
· Excellent research skills
· Proven ability to write creatively with a natural sense of correct tone and voice.
· Experience with Content Management Systems
· Knowledge and understanding of SEO best practices (desirable)
· Experience with writing ad copy and keyword research (desirable)
