An excellent regional communications role has arisen in a leading national law firm. The Corporate Communications Executive will support the Corporate Communications team in delivering the Group's external, internal and investor communications activity.
Based in Birmingham, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain the team's high standards of technical and service excellence. This role requires project management skills, the ability to produce a high volume of written copy often to tight deadlines, and the ability to maintain and develop excellent external and internal stakeholder relationships. The Corporate Communications Executive will enjoy a broad role incorporating corporate communications, media relations, crisis and issues management, internal communications, digital communications and the role holder will also have Press Office responsibilities. As directed by the Head of Corporate Communications, you will also assist the wider Client & Market Development team on developing content for larger projects and marketing campaigns when required.
The Corporate Communications Executive will be confident, organised and pragmatic, with a team-oriented attitude, and will possess both outstanding communication skills and a good eye for detail. This role would suit a communications professional with previous experience in either a PR agency or in-house environment and a keen interest in the professional services industry. A CIPR diploma or equivalent would be a distinct advantage. A track record of generating pro-active, creative communications across all mediums will be essential.
