A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic CSR Executive to join a specialist, London based law firm in a brand new Corporate Social Responsibility role.
The firm's CSR Committee is currently made up of 4 partners and Head of HR. Due to the increased focus and drive on CSR activities the firm are now looking for a permanent staff member to drive CSR initiatives and to help co-ordinate and develop a programme and ensure its effective delivery. CSR will cover Wellbeing; Sustainability; Charity and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Acting as a key contact internally and externally for all CSR activity, the CSR Executive will work closely with the CSR Committee to develop and deliver a firm wide CSR programme aligned to the wider business strategy and work with colleagues to devise a communications programme, including the production of supporting materials, to increase employee engagement and volunteering to maximise the impact of CSR initiatives and will need to subsequently ensure the continued promotion of CSR internally through the intranet and on social media. The successful applicant will also work with the Charities Committee, taking responsibility for supporting the development, management and effective implementation of the firm's charity partnership. Other key responsibilities will include the co-ordination of pro-bono reporting across the firm; developing and maintaining the CSR and Diversity website and intranet pages; producing a quarterly internal CSR Newsletter; identifying CSR awards and draft submissions in order to promote initiatives; and undertaking relevant research, evaluating opportunities and presenting as required.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience of working in a similar position ideally within a legal or professional services firm and ideally will have previous experience with communications channels, policy development and financial and budget management. In addition, t is essential that applicants for the role of CSR Executive are passionate about the role corporate responsibility can play in the development of a successful business, are willing to be involved at strategic and operational levels and possess a strong ability to interact with people at all levels.
