DATA DIRECTOR

A bespoke Data, Analytics and Technology division is seeking an experienced data expert to head up the data offering. You will be working with some of the world's most recognizable brands delivering analytics and consultancy services around digital media performance.

You will be responsible for working with one of the agency's largest clients, identifying problems within the business and shaping solutions to solve them. You will manage a number of teams to deliver projects around customer conversion, audience measurement, measuring the impact of marketing and media spend and in turn campaign performance, helping clients with technology capabilities and setting up data strategies around this. In addition you will also contribute to innovation projects in order to continually develop and shape new data products and tools for clients.

As the Head of this team you will be the evangelist for data services, identifying opportunities for new projects and consulting with them on these.

Key knowledge and aptitudes required are:

  • Taking a proactive approach to "asking questions" of the data to add value to client's performance
  • Organization, development and management of a team of econometricians, data scientists, data planners and audience analysts.
  • Intellectually curious with knowledge of cutting edge analytical techniques; working with big data
  • Ability to spot opportunities for growth, development and NPD within existing clients
  • Highly consultative approach, background in business development and delivery

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a numerate discipline
  • A solid understanding of classic statistical analysis, machine learning and simulation techniques
  • A highly commercial and consultative approach; leading and owning one of the agency's largest clients
  • Understanding of marketing, advertising and tech and programmatic strategies
  • A background in the interpretation of large sets of customer and digital media data, developing actionable insights
  • Experience with digital attribution modelling / Market Mix Modelling and digital tracking technologies; fully conversant with digital media and the whole media mix (knowledge of how media channels are planned, bought and measured)
  • Experience from a media / marketing analytics environment
  • Excellent team leadership skills; ability to inspire, grow and lead a team
  • Keen eye for detail and working to deadlines, in a fast-moving environment
  • Adept at identifying opportunities & comfortable challenging convention

LOCATION - Central London

SALARY - £100k - £120k plus excellent benefits
