Join the number 1 global insurance brand as an Desktop IT Support and develop your career with a world leader. You will join a small team to promote IT in a positive manner whilst providing technical support and services to all users across the UK. To do this, you will work with our Deskside Support teams across all sites to deliver a high-quality service.

What you will be doing

Build positive relationships with business users across your sites

*
Primary point of contact for IT requests, incidents and problems

*
Educate & provide Deskside assistance to the business across your sites

*
Take ownership of any trends or issues across your sites

*
Assist colleagues across other sites

*
Support the Major Incident Management and Problem Management processes

*
Liaise with internal communications departments to ensure appropriate messages/updates are delivered to meet with customer expectations

*
Comply with all Security & Risk requirements.

Qualifications

Who are we looking for?

Previous IT Support experience is essential (in a multi-supplier environment is desirable)

*
Strong customer service ethic

*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*
Negotiation & conflict management skills

*
Must have access to own transport

The ideal candidate will have exposure to many of the below:

Virtualised platform

*
Windows 7 and Windows 10

*
Microsoft Office applications

*
Basic networking, WAN, LAN and wireless

*
VPN solutions, Citrix VDI and Cisco Anyconnect

*
Mobile Device Management, such as Airwatch

*
Citrix, SCCM, General networking protocols DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WIFI

*
Active Directory users and computers.
