DI/BI Delivery Analyst

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: Dependent on experience
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Data & Information Delivery Team. We are looking for an individual who has a keen interest in data and providing logical solutions to various problems. A key part of the role is to engage with stakeholders across the Society offering challenge, advice and opportunities where suitable.
You will be responsible for the production and delivery of the Society’s key management information and intuitive data solutions. This can range from the delivery of ah-hoc pieces of analysis in Excel to more complex business intelligence dashboards. You will be empowered to help drive change and create efficiencies across the Society by supporting a wide variety of departments in the right format, at the right time.
You will proactively build relationships across the business to communicate and present solutions to
help our stakeholders make more informed decisions through the power of data. This BI Delivery role is the bridge between business and technical where you are able to take complex business requirements and translate them into appropriate output.
Whilst experience would be advantageous, a technical aptitude, inquisitive mind and passion to be part of a high performing team are the only pre-requisites. Full training will be provided for the right individual. In addition, experience of operational processes in a financial services environment would be beneficial.
An ability (and aptitude to learn where no previous direct experience) to use data interrogation, manipulation and reporting/ dashboard creation tools (including ideally, Excel, T-SQL queries, SharePoint, Power BI, SSRS, etc.)
