About this role
The role is responsible for managing digital brand communications for PepsiCo UK Snacks brands Doritos, Sensations, Sunbites and Snack a Jacks. This involves all aspects of online consumer experience, from creating best in class content to booking media and managing influencers activations. A great role for someone who is hyper-connected with consumers and local culture, always seeing trends and opportunities around them.

The role reports into the UK Senior Digital & Total Connections Manager and is well embedded in the local marketing team, but also connected to our regional teams and European Centre of Excellence.

What you’ll get up to

  • Bring the outside in, leading social listening and trends discovery, identifying opportunities to react in a culturally relevant way;
  • Strategize and execute a drumbeat of content across paid, owned and earned touchpoints, leveraging platform best practice and working closely with digital creative agencies;
  • Champions creativity and innovation in the social space, always focused on driving earned media and brand love;
  • Oversees digital media booking (via media agency) and ensures in-campaign optimization;
  • Leads influencer strategy and executes activations, acting as key point of contact for influencer agencies;
  • Works hand in hand with internal Consumer Relationships team to ensure alignment on any digital activities and keeps raising the bar on reactivity and engagement;
  • Manage brand digital experiences like owned websites and chatbots or partnerships with 3rd parties.
  • Constantly monitors performance, shares synthetized reports and key learnings with the marketing teams and wider European community;
  • Champions digital internally, ensuring broader marketing team understands the role of digital and consumer engagement in achieving their objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience of working with social media and influencers, client or agency side.
  • Detailed knowledge of all social platforms, from content best practice to media buying and enabling social software;
  • Consumer obsession and creative thinking; ability to influence creative agencies to produce best in class content and always push the boundaries;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and key values of having a bias for action, results-oriented, community-focused and prioritization of people;
  • Open-minded, flexible and able to deal with people effectively at all levels, both internally and externally;
  • Storytelling skills are a plus – someone who can create great stories with their mobile phone and copy craft.
