If you have a minimum of 2-3 years robust brand, trade or shopper marketing experience, this is a super opportunity to move your career forward with a massive player in the world of luxury cruises.  In this busy and hands-on role, you’ll work alongside the Trade Marketing Manager to build and implement a strong marketing plan targeting and supporting its huge base of retail and on-line travel agents who sell its cruise holidays.  With marcoms focused on digital and content-based activity, you’ll ensure that the UK travel trade love this well-known brand and range of holidays, and have the marketing tools to engage and excite their cruise-loving customers.

Key responsibilities include

  • Providing customers and field sales teams with the campaigns & trade marketing tools needed to drive the brand in the market, ensuring all digital and print comms are on brand, relevant and compelling.
  • Working closely with key agency partners to ensure all activity is creative, timely and is consistent with the company’s consumer marketing campaigns.
  • Taking responsibility day-to-day activity on the company’s successful trade loyalty scheme including the social media strategy with regular updates of sharable content, competitions and promotions including Facebook and Instagram activity.
  • Being the day to day contact for all key agencies including creative agencies and trade fulfilment companies for promotions and incentives.
  • Assisting with the management of the UK and Ireland Trade Marketing budgets, ensuring money is spent smartly with a strong return on investment.
  • Running day to day contact with the field sales team to ensure marketing collateral is distributed to them.

Skills Checklist

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ marketing experience across brand, trade or shopper activity
  • Highly organised and capable of juggling multiple tasks with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, always happy to take on a new challenge
  • A solid base of digital marketing experience with familiarity of key social media platforms.  Experience of writing copy and using photoshop would be useful but not essential
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills – self-starter and calm under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal with internal and external partners and customers
