Where you will create
your impact (key responsibilities)

* Design bespoke interactive and
engaging online and blended learning solutions including assessments and short
animations for a variety of topics that meet design quality standards
* Develop, analyse and challenge
learning aims and objectives, working with Subject Matter Experts (SMES) to
design solutions that align with these
* instructional design
theories and best practise, keeping up to date with L&D trends and develop
innovative ideas for online resources
* Drive the evaluation of all
learning solutions to ensure they drive business performance and deliver return
on investment
* Owning the Learning Design
element of projects, creating an amazing employee learning experience
* Creating gold standard
deliverables that always represent the employee’s best interests, and exceed
the company expectations, whether you’re creating e-learning, digital resources
or short animations
* Providing unique and creative
input and ideas to solutions at all stages of delivery.
* Engage with internal stakeholders
and Learning Business Partners to plan and execute projects
* Continually develop and create
new ideas and solutions for learning content and learning channels
* Based on learning needs,
determine appropriate technology platform, course design, and instruction
delivery options based on subject matter and target audience
* Work with internal stakeholders
to design and develop our AXA Essentials mandatory learning courses and
* Support with the design of
learning campaigns, communications and collateral, including our UK wide and
Global Learning Weeks
* Utilise variety of authoring and
design software and multimedia tools to develop visuals for slide decks, HTML web pages, print and communications
* Curate and create video and audio
resources where needed


So, it’s the moment
of truth, what are we looking for in the successful candidate? (skills and

* Extensive experience as a Digital
Learning Designer with a sound understanding of learning theories and their
application in Learning Design
* Instructional design experience
and proven track record of creating both online and blended Learning solutions
for corporate employees
* Exceptional writing / storyboarding
skills and outstanding attention to detail
* Strong technical understanding of
delivering digital learning
* Strong communication skills –
interacting confidently and building relationships across all areas of the
* Broad experience and
accomplishment in using a range of content authoring tools such as Articulate
Storyline, Adapt Builder, and other web-based authoring tools including Gomo
Learning. Also, be familiar with SCORM / HTML5 publishing to LMS systems
* Design capability and experience including
videography, graphic design and web design
* Must have some HTML website and
CMS design experience to design and deliver custom web pages on our LMS
* A willingness to learn, explore
and constantly bring new ideas to the table
* Experience of working within a
national organisation with multi-sited locations
* Ability to work under pressure,
prioritise workload and adapt to changing circumstances
* Energy to work as a self-starter,
and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-sited team
