Our Marketing Team
We deliver marketing campaigns and programmes to consumers and trade across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including digital, print, advertising, events and much more. As a team with responsibility for UK & Europe, Australia, Asia and Latin America we work and collaborate closely with regional marketing teams across continents to develop marketing collateral and deliver global campaigns, collateral and assets.
We all have responsibility for delivering key communications on time and against our commercial objectives and work continuously on projects and campaigns to drive new leads into our database or increase lead conversion and guest retention. Digital channels play a key role in everything that we do.
The role of Digital Marketing Executive is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid digital skillset and an appetite to get their hands on a wide variety of digital projects and work in a fast paced, international environment. Email marketing is one of our most successful digital channels, so a basic understanding of html is required and an understanding of basic Photoshop (or equivalent) functionalities would be beneficial. Updating and maintaining website content is also part of the day to day responsibilities of this role.
Digital performance marketing (display, social, search, content marketing) is the focus for our lead generation efforts and in this role you will have responsibility of managing your own campaigns (from start to finish) as well as supporting your colleagues across the globe with campaign insights, analytics and reporting. A good understanding of Google Analytics (or other analytics packages) will help you to identify opportunities and make meaningful suggestions to improve performance of your own campaigns and those run by others in the team.

Analyse performance of digital campaigns with Google Analytics and provide actionable insights to enhance campaign performance
Weekly e-newsletter production (mix between consumer and trade communications), based on existing templates in Adobe Dreamweaver, writing copy, creating images (Photoshop) and setting up emails for deployment in the email platform (we use Cheetah mail and will provide full training)
Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (incl. display, email, social) in line with overall marketing objectives
Researching new digital opportunities (platforms, suppliers, publications) for new lead acquisition
plan and book online advertising (banner advertising, content marketing opportunities, email marketing campaigns) with external supplier;
timely production of creative artwork in line with overarching marketing campaigns
measure and report results
Work with Trade Marketing Manager to support travel agents and sales managers with the production of digital marketing materials (e.g. digital advertising banners, solus emails, imagery, copy text)
Manage and implement content updates on local currency versions of U< & EU website via the CMS (Drupal)
Job Specific Knowledge & Skills
Solid understanding of the digital marketing landscape and hands-on experience in creating digital campaigns (email, display, social and/or search)
Basic understanding of HTML is a must
Basic understanding of Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop is a must
Eye for detail and good proof reading skills
Ability to self-organise and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Experience of using Content Management Systems is a plus
