Digital Marketing Manager

Hours of Work: 35 Hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: Up to £33k dependent on experience
We’re after one of those rare people who can combine strategic, technical and creative skills
to become our new Digital Marketing Manager. As part of this role, you’ll help us bring our corporate plan to life, by supporting the development and delivery of our digital content marketing strategy, which covers our direct mortgages, Lifetime ISA and intermediary propositions.
This role has a big to do list with plenty of variety. But ultimately, we want to convert the people who visit our website into customers. That’s where you come in. You’ll take the lead on developing the content on our site, making sure it’s relevant, on brand, engaging and aligned with our offline activity. You’ll also look at ways to increase browsing time, achieve effective SEO results and improve our Google rankings.
Obviously, you’ll need to keep a close eye on performance to make sure activity is having the desired effect. But you won’t be alone in your efforts. This is very much a collaborative role. You’ll work closely with Digital colleagues to work through the analytics side of things, and contributions from other teams will help inform and shape your plans.
If you’re one of those people who loves to work with others, that’s a really good start. You’ll also need a relevant degree and a couple of years’ experience in a similar role. You’ll be keen to get into the nitty gritty of our customer proposition, and excited about using your expertise to develop insightful marketing strategies that really drive results.
You don’t need a background in financial services, but if you’ve worked in a regulated environment before, that would really help. And you’ll need to be comfortable interacting with senior members of the team and providing updates on the performance of your plans.
