Digital Marketing Manager 

Our client is an established, yet rapidly growing team of marketing specialists, selling property professional legal and surveying services to clients nationwide. 

They own a number of online super brands within the legal property sector including Fridaysmove, Homeward Legal, Surveyor Local, In-Deed, Capital Conveyancing and Best Value Conveyancing 

Position: Digital Marketing Manager

About the role: 

They are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to maximise marketing return on investment from spend and resources, generating leads and enquiries through multi-channel campaigns, marketing efficiencies and performance. The post holder will support digitally-led programmes of activity and initiatives which improve the customer experience and enhance online journeys. 


- Assists the Head of Marketing in co-ordinating digital marketing and campaign activity. Helps to develop and drive the pipeline of activity to enhance customer experience and conversion rates 
- Works on briefs to develop and delivers compelling campaigns and activities across online / digital to generate awareness, leads and enquiries for our client 
- Exploits owned media channels to co-ordinate continual improvements 
- Operates as part of the small marketing team within our client, delivering a cohesive overall marketing strategy, contributing to the development and delivery of the marketing strategy and plans, representing marketing in a range of forums and, on occasion, deputising for the Head of Marketing 
- Part of the planning team for optimised customer journeys, assists with appropriate customer journey projects to enhance customer experience across online channels 
- Delivers customer journey initiatives 
- Seeks out improvements for key customer touchpoints and analyses conversion rates and drop-outs at each journey stage. Recommends ideas, and partners with Product Management to test and implement customer journey improvements 
- Prepares compelling and comprehensive briefs at the start of projects detailing requirements, specific deliverables, business projections and timings. Co-ordinates successful delivery 
- Uses consumer insight and our clients-driven customer research to improve campaign planning and construct consumer-focused briefs for colleagues based on insight on motivations, attitudes, behaviours linked to segment data 
- Works alongside marketing digital expertise and agencies to optimise marketing campaign performance 

About you: 

- Is fully conversant with Google Analytics and is able to see trends and analyse marketing performance 
- A business-related degree / relevant professional qualifications or equivalent experience 
- Digital marketing experience and technical proficiency 
- Evidence of owning and delivering initiatives to improve customer experience / customer journeys and conversion 
- The post holder will be an experienced, commercially-focused professional with a proven record of delivering digital marketing campaigns 
- Project definition, specification and delivery 
- Digital technical knowledge and evidence of application in a digital environment 
- Understanding of digital campaign tracking and metrics 
- Experience of assisting with website development projects 
- Customer-centric approach to digital optimisation 
- Visible and effective communicator. 
- Able to identify, extract, summarise and interpret relevant information from a broad range of sources to evaluate and develop insights and marketing / brand plans 
- Excellent relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
