We are delivering the biggest investment in the UK’s digital infrastructure for over a decade, with a £3bn programme to extend our ultrafast broadband network and brilliant Virgin TV to millions of homes and businesses.

As we enter one of the most exciting times in our history we are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager that oozes our Virgin values and embraces the on-going ways of working within Liberty Global.

The Digital Marketing Team are Virgin Media’s Indirect 3rd Party Marketing team. We collaborate with a diverse group of external and internal partners.

What will you be doing?

You will be generating best in class marketing content in a fast moving environment.
Collaborating with stakeholders from multiple disciplines and backgrounds; including legal, data protection, operations, national sales account team, central marketing, social media and brand.
Developing and nurturing relationships with key external partners
Developing the overall digital strategy for the channel whilst also maintaining and effectively optimising all platforms supporting channel growth
Writing detailed briefs and managing creative agencies.
Leading the design workflow and analytics for our platforms, utilising technical tracking capabilities and first-hand user research to provide UX analysis and insights to significantly drive efficiencies and improve conversion rates.
Attending regular meetings with key external partners, supporting the sales account teams with marketing initiatives

Proactively seeking out new opportunities to grow Virgin Media’s business with our accounts.
Working with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics or similar tools.
Owning the agenda for A/B testing and multivariate testing to continually measure performance and drive optimisation for conversion across UI and content, with experience in Adobe Test and Target or similar tools.
Managing paid social (Facebook, Instagram) and display (retargeting) campaigns, with experience working with container tag and floodlight technologies.
Developing digital plug ins e.g. Live Chat
Developing and delivering other specific projects as agreed with the Senior Channel Marketing Manager, proactively contributing new ideas ensuring a successful launch

Required competencies and behavior's
Previous experience of site optimisation, customer journeys, Google Analytics and use of CMS
Proven relationship-builder at all levels and across all functions (internal and external)
Results orientated
Creative / innovative idea generator
Collaborative and ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
Strong commercial acumen
Highly numerate & reporting skills
Excellent communication skills
Previous experience with developing & executing strategy

Required Experience & technical skills
Demonstrable experience in a large marketing team / environment, with broad digital skills
Experience of delivering marketing activity both on and offline within a complex, multi-channel retail and online environment
Experience delivering new and innovative digital merchandising solutions
Experience managing online customer journey and digital best practise
Good understanding of the online marketplace and building relationships with Retailers and
E-tailers in order to develop and deliver marketing initiatives
Previous experience developing & implementing channel digital strategy
Previous use of CMS & Google Analytics
Experience of editing creative assets using software packages such as Adobe Photoshop
