Digital Marketing Manager

Reporting directly into the Marketing & Communications Director, you will manage our client's existing Email Marketing Programme to drive enquiries, re-engagement and renewals into the business. You will also play a key role in website development projects, and monthly updates to the website working with our client's agency partners. You will oversee their social media, working with the wider team, to drive enquiries and awareness through social media.

You will also support the marketing team with other marketing and communications projects as required to deliver our client's growth objectives. This is a varied, hands-on and fast-paced role in a friendly business, that would suit someone looking to take their first step into a marketing manager role, or a person who wants to develop their marketing manager skills further in an exciting and growing business. This role may also suit someone with a digital agency background looking to move client-side.

Digital Marketing Manager Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimise the existing email marketing programme to drive the business growth agenda using Mailchimp.
  • Oversee and deliver the social media plan and continually optimize to improve results.
  • Manage website developments on a monthly basis, and project management of new website development projects.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns using Google Analytics and other evaluations tools; assess the results and make recommendations to optimise future campaigns.
  • Understand and analyse our client's competitors, the market and consumer trends.
  • Ensure all marketing and promotional activity aligns with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements.
  • Manage and execute other marketing and communications projects as required.
Digital Marketing Manager Requirements:
  • Experience of running email marketing campaigns and use of Mailchimp a distinct advantage.
  • Project management skills – experience of managing website development projects and website updates.
  • Experience of managing social media accounts and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Competent user of Google Analytics.
  • Creative skills coupled with analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Degree in Marketing / Business / Advertising or similar.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
