The Company

As a result of strong growth over the past two years, our client, a leading market researcher in the mobile and online media sector, is looking to recruit a B2B Digital Marketing Manager to manage and grow the market share.

Job Description

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be a proven B2B Marketing professional, with hands-on experience of delivering smart and effective marketing campaigns and getting the best out of digital assets.
You will possess a tenacious approach to business-to-business marketing, whilst being able to manage the whole process from marketing planning through to implementation and measurement.


You will have experience of PR, SEO, Promotion and Email Marketing, whilst being able to negotiate the best deals with marketing partners and suppliers.
You must be an intelligent, pro-active and enthusiastic individual who can be trusted to manage a critical area of the business. A safe pair of hands, but with the ambition to really make a difference.
Previous experience of international B2B marketing is desirable, as is the ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
The successful candidate will thrive within a small, friendly, team based environment.

Main Objectives

To develop marketing programmes and campaigns that deliver real results for the business : a measurable increase in media coverage and engagement, growing prospect enquiries, and ultimately a rise in research and consultancy sales.
To provide management with accurate and timely marketing performance data in order to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

To prepare tactical and longer term plans to support business targets - incorporating both digital and traditional marketing techniques.
Develop benchmarks and measures of marketing effectiveness.
Digital Marketing
To keep abreast of all key developments in digital marketing, ensuring that investments in this area translate into successful sales : including:
Email Marketing - Develop and implement effective eshot campaigns to support product launches, research promotions and ad hoc campaigns - against the publications schedule and marketing plan.
SEO - Optimise the website in order to maximise position and rank and manage ad words account within budget.
Social Media - Develop, coordinate and promote social media strategy, in order to maximise followers, ‘likes’, back-links, reputation, traffic positive feedback, and overall presence. Also coordinate our contribution to influential third party blogs through analyst and marketing contributions.
Website Development - Assist in the continual improvement of the Research website and other domains - liaising with external contractors where applicable.
Marketing Execution
Product Launches - Develop and manage the launch of new products and services in an effective and efficient manner : including pre-launch, launch and post-launch initiatives e.g. website updates, SEO, social media, PR, marketing collateral, e-shots, whitepapers, sales targets/lists, and other marketing collateral.
PR - Manage and produce effective press releases, working closely with the analyst team, and co-ordinating with the key newswires, outlets and aggregators : increasing coverage with influential technology journalists and bloggers around the world.
Marketing Partnerships - Identify and negotiate beneficial deals with marketing partners such as conference producers, website owners, publishers and associations, in order to promote our products and services, and gain access to high quality sales contacts.
Future Digital Awards Programme (FDA) - Manage and develop the FDA programme in conjunction with analysts, clients and PR companies - Increasing media coverage of the awards.
Promotional Campaigns : Develop effective promotional support for Juniper content streams and product areas. All marketing collateral should strive to be highly professional, creative and inventive - reflective of a professional analyst house at the cutting edge of new technology.
Business Intelligence
Company positioning & Competitor Analysis - Improve the knowledge of competitor products, services and pricing : managing one-off and ongoing competitive intelligence programmes.
Other Support

In addition to the key Marketing duties the job holder may be required to occasionally support other parts of the business : according to business needs.
