Digital Marketing Operations Consultant

To this end we’re looking for a high-calibre individual who has a breadth of skills and enjoys innovating but also likes to keep a hands-on approach.
This role will truly offer variety as it has many different facets to it, understanding digital channels, analysis, marketing, relationship management etc.
Our digital team touch all points of our business, although this role supports our external sites mainly around digital marketing and its activities. You will be analysing how our sites are performing for our brand teams and how any digital activity can support our customers sites. You can be involved with the fundamentals of how a site is built, how ‘search’ is performing, setting standards across SEO and that it’s mobile optimised, you’ll really need to have worked with websites. To be clear this isn’t a role whereby you’ll be getting involved with the Marketing or Social Media campaigns but need to understand how they operate.
The teams come up with many ideas its up to this person to help them understand whether we should invest time and money in those ideas and whether digital can help us across the estate. If we activate any of these opportunities, we need to see how successful they are using Content Management Systems and Analytics tools. There will be other activities such as reviewing the assets that our Advertising Agencies have delivered or understanding how we collect customer data, is it secure, how long we keep it for.
There are so many opportunities, improvements and exciting things to get involved with. The role will have scope to be forward and future thinking. We are always looking to optimise, develop and push what we do.
The role is largely GB focused but could support any activities across the globe including countries such as: Brazil, France, Ireland etc.
We’re open to candidates coming from a range of sectors or industries – they won’t necessarily need experience of working in FMCG or Food & Beverage. In fact, the role may suit someone who works for a retailer, ‘pure-play’ online business, digital agency etc. Experiences of using CRM tools or analytics tools would be useful and having worked with websites.
