About the role:You'll be joining the Mobile Conversion Team which sits alongside other teams in Digital such as Service, Cable Join, Insight & Strategy and Apps. This team is responsible for improving online conversion rates for our Mobile products across acquisition and retention. The focus is to simplify our browse and join journeys for mobile and optimise how we launch new products and services to market. You'll be working closely with teams outside of Digital such as Marketing, Commercial and Technology.
You’ll support in improving the overall join experience; focusing on building new journeys and iterating on existing ones.
You’ll need bright ideas, high energy and a commitment to improving our digital customer experience for good. You’ll need to hit the ground running, be proactive and strong at problem-solving.
Principle responsibilities include:• Taking requirements from various teams within Virgin Media and working with pricing and proposition, marketing, product and brand teams to ensure best possible site content using CQ5 and Adobe Experience Manager;• Contributing to fully optimising online activity to drive Digital sales;• Turning requirements into detailed Digital briefs to be passed on to development teams and offshore teams;• Working with User Experience to create best practice online user flows and page layouts;• Working with Brand and Digital Copy and external agencies to ensure excellent online copy and design;• Working with development teams to ensure quality and timely delivery;• Publishing online updates and co-ordinating delivery of activities;• Creating best practice web pages that drive site conversion and optimum customer journey;• Managing in-life site style and copy guidelines. Ensuring the continuous development of the guidelines and communication across business partners;• Working with internal Brand team to ensure brand guidelines and tone of voice are adhered to online;• Ensuring that all copy is continually tested, monitored and optimised to its full potential;• Managing and maintaining existing content and overseeing the development of new content using Adobe Experience Manager;• Working with Digital Production Lead and Resource Manager to manage and prioritise work stack deliverables and timelines;• Contributing to and supporting the ongoing development of the website;• Acting as the first point of contact for relevant workstreams using Agile Methodologies and Jira.
Required key skills (functional / technical):• Great communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders effectively.• To be comfortable working on projects with cross-functional and virtual teams.• The ability to think creatively and effectively in a high-pressure environment.• People management and development, as line manager.• To be able to manage and prioritise workload, multi-task and manage a mix of issues, responsibilities and challenges• Knowledge of Content Management Systems required
Required qualifications/experience:• Degree Preferred• Strong Customer needs focus both internal and external• BAU delivery experience a huge plus
