Why this role matters
In this job, you’ll be responsible for the performance of a digital product or journey(s). You’ll operate at the squad level which is a team of cross functional colleagues focused on improving a KPI(s), product, process or journey(s). You’ll influence the experience of millions of customers.
The exact digital product or journey in scope of any of our roles will evolve over time. We will assign you to squad based upon a combination of your background, your development needs and interest and the business need. Example squads we operate today are; BT TV & Sport Acquisition Merchandising and My EE App Android.
What you'll be doing
You’ll collate, distil and interrogate customer insight and business priorities to create a balanced view of customer needs and business challenges for your squad.
You’ll input into the goals and objectives of your tribe.
You’ll create, maintain and regularly iterate a roadmap and backlog for your squad.
You’ll prioritise activities for your squad based upon achieving validated learning as quickly as possible and maximising customer value.
You’ll help shape requirements for new initiatives from other areas in Consumer. Where applicable, you will translate these commercial/ marketing/ service strategies and targets into a digital experience backlog for your squad.
You’ll be responsible for the product performance of your squad and expected to assure it.
You’ll communicate clearly, transparently and concisely with stakeholders and tell your squad’s story.
You’ll have a collaborative way of working, within, and across squad, breaking down any barriers to move relationships forward.

Analyst – data driven, has excellent knowledge of squad's KPIs.
Communicator – always clear, transparent and concise.
Empathetic – Demonstrates willingness to listen to customers and colleagues and understand their perspectives.
Advocate – of our products and working here. Brings a positive attitude.
