Digital Resource & Planning Lead

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £33,200 per annum
We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic individual to join our Commercial function as a Digital Resource and Planning Lead. Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring the planning and prioritisation of work through the Digital teams to deliver the agreed portfolio of change covering projects, initiatives, BAU and small change. You will be proactive with engagement with other key change delivery teams in order to ensure aligned delivery plans, with clear articulation of dependencies.
Working alongside the Delivery Teams, Delivery and Strategy Manager and Squad Leads you will help identify, categorise and prioritise the portfolio of Digital change requirements, ensuring you understand the key business drivers for each of the pieces of work coming through the Digital portfolio.
Relationship building will be a key element to this role as you will collaborate with other key change areas (e.g. Business Change and Innovation, IT and Data Information), this will aid the planning and synchronised delivery of the portfolio. Alongside this you’ll make sure adherence with all relevant policies, frameworks, controls, processes and best practises, maintaining robust governance and control processes.
Ensuring the delivery of high departmental performance through the effective understanding of
assigned and available resource; you’ll align the capability and capacity demands to deliver outputs in the most effective and cost efficient way. You’ll also provide accurate and timely expertise and advice to Digital and relevant stakeholders.
To succeed within this role you will have excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills; gaining the respect of your own team and senior stakeholders. Having strong interpersonal skills is also a must to make sure you’re able to build strong relationships at all levels.
Within this role you will be working to tight deadlines and sometimes under pressure so you’ll have excellent organisation skills and planning ability. You’ll be expected to have good analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Expert knowledge and practical experience of project and/or resource management and capacity planning is required to succeed within this role.
You will need a thorough knowledge of project management disciplines and techniques and a good knowledge of business along with the ability to interpret corporate direction and identify any implications for the Digital Team. You will work with a variety of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical across a variety of domains so being able to communicate at levels is essential.
