Digital UAT Lead

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

We’re looking for an experienced User Acceptance Testing Lead to manage and lead our Digital UAT function, ensuring every change is fit for purpose, easy to use for our customers and as designed. This is a great opportunity to build up and evolve the processes and governance around this key function.
As part of our Digital team this role will act as Test Lead for Digital User Acceptance Testing and be responsible for overseeing and management of the Digital UAT for all customer platforms. The role will provide Digital with confidence that the digital change is fit for purpose. You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional quality and customer experience through managing the UAT test and sign off process for Digital. Working with other departments, understanding the requirements and desired outcomes, while ensuring the correct test process is carried out, documented and reported. Customers are at the heart of everything we do at Skipton, making sure our customers have seamless online experiences will always be the ultimate goal and this role plays a key part. This role also has people and line management responsibilities.
We looking for a ‘doer’ who’s passionate about quality, able to lead a small team and collaborate with colleagues to create robust processes. You’ll have amazing attention to detail, brilliant organisational skills and the ability to take requirements and shape effective testing strategies, plans and scripts. Digital is a dynamic team, working with a range of stakeholders across many different areas of the organisation, so you’ll need to be comfortable juggling competing demands and prioritising effectively. We’re looking for a skilled tester, with experience of people management. You’ll need to have experience in a related role, while a relevant qualification would also be beneficial.
