The role of the Business Marketing team is to articulate the Facebook for Business value proposition at scale. We are passionate about helping brands, businesses, Influencers and agencies understand the ways in which Facebook can help them achieve their core objectives, and we are constantly looking for new ways to inspire, educate and grow the industry.

We are looking for an experienced leader to be the Director of Global Business Group Marketing across our EMEA region. In this role you would be responsible for co-ordinating and aligning the marketing strategy across the four regional teams in the EMEA Marketing group – Southern, Northern, Central Europe and Middle East and Africa. You will be accountable for the GBG marketing budgets and ensure we deliver the most effective messaging while at the same time, ensuring complete coverage of this large and diverse region. You will be experienced at leading diverse and geographically distributed teams, and you will have proven ability to align marketing activities across multiple geographies and create impact at scale. You will be working alongside central marketing services that will support and work closely with your teams, therefore you will know how to be successful in a matrix organisation. Show strong capabilities to build productive stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with other leaders to bring the whole EMEA Marketing strategy together with the leaders across the business marketing team and sale operations teams.

We are looking for a leader with strong leadership values, diverse team building capabilities and track record of building and running high performing teams. You will be passionate about building the right infrastructure and operational capability to run a complex area, you will bring passion to add value on top of the marketing leaders already in this team, and have strong reporting and process, operational capabilities. You will not be expected to run marketing campaigns or get into the detail of performance marketing techniques, however you are expected to have experience over seeing both offline and online campaigns, have worked closely with agencies on creative and media and able to lead teams that do produce these outputs. You will enjoy elevating creative and quality of narrative and be focused on building a strong capability of customer insight driven activities with your regional leaders.

This role reports into our Head of Global Customer Marketing for EMEA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a team of 30+ marketers

*

Partner with the local consumer and coms leadership team to align external messages

*

Orchestrate the regional strategy across Facebook’s EMEA regions (Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Central Europe and globally)

*

Identify economies of scale and ways of working that will enable growth

*

Assess and balance the marketing mix to maximise impact and value

*

Collaborate across the world on scaling local, regional ideas.

*

Drive EMEA Revenue through smart mid-long term marketing activities

*

Adopt and innovate to bring the best mar tech into the team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

*

20+ years of experience in a B2B/B2C marketing leadership role

*

Proven leader of leaders role in other fast moving companies.

*

Managed multimillion $ budgets, Pref full opex responsibilities

*

Strong people management capabilities and stakeholder management

*

Proven experience of successfully working in a matrix organization

*

Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed teams

*

Deep knowledge of the advertising and marketing industries across EMEA

*

Expert in operational efficiency through automation of tools and processes

*

Strong executive presence and a track record of working well in cross functional teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

*

Proven track record of "moving fast" and delivering on tight deadlines

*

Fluency in English

*

Additional languages a plus

*

Enjoys leading and doing
