Job Title: E-Commerce Lead

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 per annum + OTE

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent (Monday to Thursday 09.00 am - 17.30 pm. Fridays are 09.00 am to 17.00 pm)

This Yorkshire-based company is a successful supplier of bulk-purchase FMCG to UK wholesalers and independent buying groups. They have dedicated and wholly-owned administration and production facilities in India and China and also export worldwide. All of their brands and products are developed and specified in Britain.

The company have ambitious growth plans and are now looking for an equally ambitious and well-qualified self-starter to oversee the specification, procurement, development and introduction of an effective B2B e-commerce channel within a new website currently under construction.

The role:

As their new e-commerce Manager, you will plan and shape the e-commerce capability of the business in the UK market and ultimately take ownership of the channel as a profit center. The successful candidate will be able to take the initiative and have a solid professional track record of driving e-commerce growth, leading associated change in existing business processes and practices, and ensuring efficient and effective integration with all other relevant internal business systems.

The role holder will report to the Sales Director while maintaining close interaction and liaison with the Marketing and Sales teams as well as a range of other business functions.

You will have strong and empathetic leadership and influencing skills along with the can-do energy and tenacity to make their e-commerce business vision a reality.

Career experience and expertise should include:

  • An enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Relevant experience of introducing and managing an effective B2B e-commerce channel and driving associated business change
  • Strong focus on delivering additional conversion and revenue as well as customer satisfaction
  • E-commerce analytical skills that underpin e-commerce activities and sales strategy
  • A creative and forward-thinking approach to e-commerce designed to ensure consistent return on investment.

What's on offer:

  • The salary is negotiable depending on experience and track record and will consist of a competitive basic salary plus OTE
