My client is a FTSE 250 business who are a they are a superbrand in their market with a turnover of over £400 million.
Due to a huge re-visioning of their digital growth strategy, a new Ecommerce Manager role has been created to help develop and succeed within this fast moving and competitive market space!
Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, this role will manage all online trading platforms. This will include day-to-day management of the sites, briefing developers on changes and handling customer queries relating to their store.
*Drive revenue and profit of Bollards Direct in line with annual targets
*Manage and update data for the Stores as and when required
*Manage and maximise opportunities to increase targeted traffic to websites through a variety of marketing channels including; PPC and PLA, SEO and email
*Lead the Ecommerce development team to integrate new functionality and development across all sites to refine and improve conversion rates
ANALYTICS AND REPORTING:
*Detailed understanding of Google Analytics and generating reports with actionable insights
*Generate reports for the senior management team to assess performance of Ecommerce channels and to inform strategic decision making
*Generate ad-hoc analytics reports as and when needed
*Prepare a development plan for the site which has expected costs and attributable benefits where possible
*Support the Head of Digital Marketing with delivery of the Digital Marketing plan
*Work on ad-hoc projects as and when needed to support the delivery of Digital Marketing plans
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES AND COMMUNICATION:
*Where nominated as Project Manager on key projects, ensure effective completion of projects on time and on budget.
*Communicate to the business when new projects are live and the benefits they will bring
*Take responsibility for coaching Digital Marketing team members in the latest Ecommerce practices
*Work closely with Information Systems team to deliver key projects
Contribution to the delivery of the ecommerce financial targets as set out by the Head of Digital Marketing.
Ownership for the site KPIs including conversion rate target and overall stores sales value.
*Agree with the Head of Digital Marketing the channel objectives, strategy and plan
*Development and implementation of the Domestic website and online trading platform plan
*Alignment of Customer Value Proposition and channel plans

*Implementation of an ecommerce strategy and with annualised plan
*Development plan for the year in conjunction with IS and Head of Digital Marketing
*Conversion rate optimisation
