The Online Trading Team (OTT) manage Lovehoney’s retail sales, maximising revenue and profit across 9 websites (on desktop, mobile and tablet), in 4 languages and 3 fulfillment centres. OTT are responsible for the long-term trading strategy as well as the tactical day-to-day running of all retail websites and emails.
What does the role entail?
You will be a key member of Lovehoney’s Email Team, working on maximising revenue potential by delivering the most exciting and enticing emails and promotions possible.
You will commission and create successful email marketing campaigns, using both creative and analytical skills to drive revenue and engagement. With the support of the Email Team Lead, you will segment newsletters to deliver relevant, targeted content, and develop triggered emails that are sent at key points in the customer’s journey.
Your creative drive will develop Lovehoney’s email templates, marketing products and offers in an enticing and innovative way. You will test and report on your campaigns, using evidence-based methodology to prove their success.

Interviews are anticipated to happen on the 27 April 2018 and will involve an interview and a practical assessment.
Commission and create exciting emails and promotions with the aim of maximising revenue in order to meet sales targets.
Maintain best practice to ensure that email campaigns are on-brand and effectively communicated with the relevant teams.
Report to the Email Manager and Email Team Lead on the performance of email campaigns (broadcast and automation) in terms of revenue and engagement.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in email marketing (or related field)
Core understanding of HTML and experience building email templates
A/B split testing and ability to follow evidence-based methodology
Knowledge of web-based ecommerce and mobile ecommerce
Commercially focused and curious, with an enthusiasm for sales ideas
Creative flair, with excellent written English and a keen eye for detail
Proven organisational and time management skills
Confident using software such as Google Docs/Microsoft Office packages
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable and confident in a fast-paced working environment.
