A highly impressive global law firm are looking for an outstanding Business Development Manager to look after their Capital Markets and Projects practices. This is an outstanding opportunity to make real difference with one of the most progressive legal brands out there.

The firm are looking for someone who can combine a strategic perspective with a hands-on approach to delivery. You will manage the strategic focus of revenue-driving activities of the EMEA Capital Markets and Projects Practice Groups, co-ordinating support from the wider marketing and business development community as appropriate and developing a strategic focused, market-leading BD, Marketing and Communications business-partnering capability which enables the Practice Groups to win, retain and grow business through consistently high standards and engaging thought leadership. The role is broad in remit with a primary focus of raising the profile of the practice utilising all elements of the marketing mix. This will enable you to help drive revenue whilst developing and implementing best practice techniques internally. On the BD side, you will have strong involvement in the bids and proposals process working closely with specialists to ensure that the firm is distinguished above others and that the all opportunities are seized. Targeting, extensive business planning and support for broader marketing and communications will also be involved.

This role would suit a very bright graduate or equivalent with proven marketing and business development experience gained ideally in another large law or professional services firm. Solid international exposure would be a big plus and you will be used to dealing with partners at a strategic level, and have the ability to add value and make a difference internally. You must also be willing to act as a strong team player and work closely with the rest of the marketing and business development teams.
