European Wholesale Marketing Manager - Financial Markets

Following a global re-org, a Tier 1 financial services firm is about to embark on the launch of a new Wholesale Markets proposition for the European markets. The appointment of the European Wholesale Marketing Manager comes off the back of this programme.

Its remit is broad, helping to shape go to market activity and building the campaign platform, acting as the conduit between Investment functions and the sales teams. Deciding key messaging and comms strategy which underpin specific campaigns.

Working with regional centres of excellence and various country heads to ensure campaigns are appropriately aligned, fit for purpose, well targeted and will achieve appropriate cut through and results. Working with other marketing channel partners such as the social media and events teams to ensure they're connecting up with campaigns appropriately.

Alongside this will be the need to ensure all regional and country sales teams and events functions are kept abreast of campaign plans, are providing the appropriate input to content and have marketing toolkits and content available to support their efforts.

Location - London (occasional travel to EU offices, typically once a month)

Salary - £50,000 - 65,000k base (dependent on experience)

EXPERIENCE NECESSARY

  • Must have experience in Marketing for Wholesale Financial Services Markets
  • Experience can be UK marketing specific or International markets based
  • Solid pedigree in Marketing Campaigns - their planning and strategy through to execution
  • Solid stakeholder management skills - working in a matrix environment with international colleagues
  • Good understanding of campaign targeting, measurement and optimisation
  • Good budget management skills (€mm's)
  • Multi-channel marketing experience, to include events and ideally
