Job Description

We are searching for a talented Event Manager to support our Marketing Department in managing and producing Orbium’s large scale corporate events as well as internal events across Europe and Asia that reflects Orbium’s brand and company culture.

External events

  • Plan, organize, manage and deliver the company’s corporate events in Europe and Asia, which could include; service launches, exhibitions, seminars and conferences.
  • Assist with the development of marketing material and event equipment.
  • Ensure coherence across all events hosted throughout the year.
  • Build strong industry relationships and negotiate global agreements to maximise our presence.

Internal events

  • Suggest event ideas and deliver high quality and memorable internal events for up to 250 people in Europe and Asia.
  • Create and manage budgets, project plans, and timelines.
  • Manage and coordinate external suppliers and all event logistics (venue, catering, travel etc.)
  • Lead promotional activities during the event to all internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed.
  • Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports.


  • Degree or equivalent ideally in marketing, hospitality management or related field.
  • Proven success in an event management role, delivering a wide range of event formats ranging from small scale conferences to company-wide programmes and events. 
  • Hands-on experience with all aspects of event planning and execution, exhibiting abilities to work under pressure, anticipating needs and managing many tasks at once to meet tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English; in addition, language skills in German and/or French would be advantageous.
  • Proven skills in project management, leadership and a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Flexible; ability to work independently and remotely with a willingness to travel.
