We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to work on The Photography Show, an award winning event that attracts 30k visitors annually in March.
This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to move up in the Events or Marketing sectors as a career. The role is varied, fast-paced and requires determination, flexibility and flair!
We need someone with at least two years’ experience in exhibition or events marketing (B2B and/or Consumer). Strong copywriting and proof-reading skills are a must, plus a high level of attention to detail and good numeracy and analytical skills. A working knowledge of the majority of the following is required: CMS systems, Microsoft Excel (and MS Office in general), email clients such as Adestra, Photoshop Elements and Google Analytics. An interest in photography or technology is ideal but not crucial.
As Marketing Executive you’ll be responsible for the successful implementation and execution of The Photography Show’s integrated marketing campaign, under the guidance of the marketing manager. You will deliver clear briefs and compelling copy for emails, adverts, direct mail, social media and the website ensuring that messaging is tailored to the relevant audience and that creative meets brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll also manage the campaign schedule; making sure that promotion reaches the market at the right time to maximise revenue and engagement. In addition, you’ll accurately analyse marketing data across all channels, report weekly on results and make recommendations to optimise the campaign strategy. You’ll be organised and able to manage your time effectively, with a proven record of working with, and co-ordinating third parties (both internal and external).
