We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Compliance Analyst - Wealth to join our team in London or Milton Keynes.

As a Financial Crime Compliance Analyst focusing on the Wealth business areas, including Cater Allen Private Bank, Financial Planning and Retail Private Bank, you will be leading and managing financial crime risk on behalf of the business through execution of business unit risk assessments, implementation of policy changes and supporting the business with review of high risk relationships.

As a FC Compliance Analyst - Wealth your main responsibilities will be

* Work with the Wealth businesses to manage their overall financial crime risk arising from internal and external activities, processes and people whilst being mindful of reviewing this to include the customer experience

* Conducting ongoing quality assurance and reporting of financial crime activities within Wealth

* Identifying and escalating to Financial Crime Senior Management instances where business units are not meeting SAN UK Financial Crime Policies/Standards and local requirements

* Liaising consistently with business unit stakeholders and representatives, Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance and other control functions such as Operational Risk, Assurance, Fraud & Governance and Controls

* Facilitating the timely completion of the Business Unit Risk Assessments (following the methodology set by Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance) and effectively identifying of gaps in processes

* Work with L2 Financial Crime and the business to deliver action plans to resolve policy/ regulatory gaps.

* Aiding the design and distribution of financial crime training and communications

Minimum skills and experience required

* Capability to provide SME advice & guidance to business units, covering financial crime policies, procedures and risks

* Solid understanding of Santander UK business structure & purpose, the inherent risks associated with products and services & relevant process controls

* Ability to make financial crime risk-based decisions, using sound judgement to escalate appropriately

* Understanding of financial crime regulation across Money Laundering, Sanctions, Bribery & Corruption & Tax Evasion

* Aptitude for communicating effectively and liaising with various stakeholders at different levels within the business

* Managing and adhering to deadlines, and communicating issues and risks to meeting these
