Job description

Job Context

Reporting to the Wholesale Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a supportive role and be a central point of contact for senior management, looking to understand how MVNO’s are performing and lead in identifying risks and trends.

This is also an opportunity to work in a highly commercial area where you will gain experience in financial accounting & invoicing and analytics into key MVNOS. You will also work with our third party billing vendors to ensure our bills are timely and accurate

This role would suit someone who can adapt to changing situations and is comfortable outside of a pure financial role when required.

The role offers an opportunity to engage directly with external Partners, and be a part of cross functional teams and is therefore suited to someone who has excellent communication skills in addition to finance / analytical skills.

The analysis and review you will be responsible for, will provide insight into the commercial and technical performance. You will work closely with the Partner Managers in delivering accurate and insightful monthly management reports to the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

Support the delivery of an effective financial accounting, control and/or reporting service by conducting assigned financial analysis and reporting activities and tasks. Apply accounting principles and procedures to analyse and prepare accurate financial information and work with internal and external stakeholders effectively to support the achievement of business outcomes.


Solutions Analysis

Follows existing procedures and precedents in determining the correct course of action for routine functional enquiries.

Needs Assessment

Collects information to gain a better understanding of routine procedural queries.


Identifies shortcomings in current compliance processes, systems and procedures; develops ad hoc solutions to immediate problems within assigned unit and/or discipline.


Provides analytical support services by carrying out prescribed audit activities and using existing procedures.

Building Capability

Develops personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunities.

Client & Customer Management (Internal)

Helps senior colleagues manage internal client and customer relationships by using sales/client systems and protocols.

Data Collection & Analysis

Works independently to collate and analyse data using pre-determined tools, methods and formats.

Document Preparation

Prepares moderately complex documents by using multiple computer applications (such as Microsoft Office), while also gathering and summarising data for reports.

Financial Management & Control

Monitors and analyses data as directed using established finance systems and protocols.

Policy Development & Implementation

Delivers prescribed outcomes by working within established procedures.

Technical Skills


Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to create relevant, lucid and effective reports.

Management Accounting

Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to support business decisions with professional interpretations of financial information.

Financial Accounting

Works with guidance (but not constant supervision) to classify, measure and record corporate transactions using financial accounting principles.

Computer skills

Supports business processes with guidance but not constant supervision by understanding and effectively using standard office equipment and standard software packages.

Data Collection and analysis

Works under guidance (but not constant supervision) to analyse data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications


General Education

* University (First degree)

Relevant financial qualifications


General Experience

Sound experience and understanding of straightforward procedures or systems (7 to 12 months)
