Prepare and deliver timely and accurate reserves and bordereau reporting.

Provide and explain the impact of reserve movements and emergence on the result and communicate to key stakeholders.

Provide adequate and accurate documentation, evidence and commentary for all internal and external review of reserves and reporting

Develop and maintain reserving and reporting models that enable robust reserving and accounting. Identify and implement potential reporting and process improvements to enhance reporting and performance tracking.

Produce and provide accurate reporting to meet Solvency II, PRA and Board reporting.

Internal Finance Controls – update documentation to accurately reflect the current process, ensure controls are working adequately. Complete all balance sheet account reconciliations.

Support on projects impacting both bordereau and reserving, providing requirements and reviewing contracts, capturing relevant information which will enable future monitoring. Work with other teams for successful implementation.

Monitor of new and existing bordereau and products to ensure that performance is in line with expectations providing additional analysis where required

Assist in the production of forecast and bordereau business where required.



Part qualified/qualified accountant, with strong relevant analytical experience. (or similar experience)


Display high degree of commercial acumen and strong analytical skills. Knowledge of actuarial reserving techniques.

Insurance and financial services market knowledge.

Strong relationship management.

Strong communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and influencing skills.

Advanced Excel skills.

Ability to work to tight deadlines.


Experience within the insurance sector.

Good working knowledge/understanding of accounting principles. Ability to understand/analyse complex financial information
