Why this role matters

This role is responsible for budgeting and forecasting both for the annual budget cycle as well as maintaining a rolling outlook across P&L, B/S and working capital. Ensuring budget processes are adhered to and deliver system accuracy. Taking full ownership, with support from the team in India, of all month end close requirements with the remit to reform, simplify and automate current processes to drive process efficiencies. You will also be responsible and accountable for delivering statutory accounts and corresponding audit, HMRC and OFCOM queries relating to Transcomm Ltd (wholly owned subsidiary).

What you'll be doing

* To consolidate and report financial results.

* To communicate financial performance to key stakeholders

* Ensure there is an aligned MTP which is internally consistent (e.g. future revenue streams includes consideration of capex/FTE requirements)

* Manage financial risks and comply with appropriate governance/controls

* To provide technical accounting expertise & policy decisions

* Provide FP&A to the business

We'll also need to see these on your CV

* Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent preferably with min 1-2yrs PQE.

* Senior Stakeholder experience and working within matrixed environments.

* Experience of working with operational teams to deliver the unit financials.

* Ability to interpret financials into meaningful insight, to inform decision making.

* Able to create a clear vision, delivering against key metrics.

* Demonstrates a high level of analytical capability.

* Ensures team adheres to the budget timeline.

* Understands longer term trends in the market and macroeconomic factors.

* Partners with audit and compliance teams to provide assurance and audit approaches for the business.
