We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Business Analyst to join our team in Milton Keynes/Bootle on a 12 Month Fixed term contract.

The Financial Crime Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the Financial Crime Assurance Project Manager to define and deliver the financial crime assurance projects. They will be required to work with the relevant Financial crime operational teams, completing reviews, assessing adherence to process and policy, and producing documented findings and recommendations.

As a Financial Crime Business Analyst your main responsibilities will be

* Solving complex business problems and providing practical value-based solutions

* Problem solving and conducting analysis within the financial crime projects to add value and ensure correct decisions are made

* Gathering of business requirements and performing business analysis for the financial crime projects and deliveries

* Reporting and tracking project deliveries

* Effectively identifies, analyses and resolves problems relating to products, processes, systems or resourcing needs.

* Contributes expertise across the business unit to facilitate change and devise solutions.

* Provides ongoing maintenance and support to enable the business to optimise the effectiveness of its operation.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the Financial Crime Programme

* Excellent Process management and re-engineering skills

* Proven track record of gathering business requirements and advising on improvements

* Able to organise own workload and meet deadlines

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations

* Assurance and/or testing experience beneficial

* Prior knowledge of Customer Screening, Customer Risk Assessment, Transaction Monitoring or Payment screening beneficial

You’ll be based in one of our biggest offices in the UK, right in the heart of Milton Keynes, home to a range of key functions including Marketing, Finance and Risk and conveniently located only a short walking distance from Milton Keynes Central rail station and Shopping Centre.
