We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Project Analyst to join our team in Milton Keynes on an 18 month fixed term contract.

The Financial Crime Project Analyst is responsible for supporting the Financial Crime Programme Manager and Product owner to define and deliver the Financial Crime Transformation Project.

The objective of the FCTP is to achieve sustainable Financial Crime compliance through the material improvement of Santander UK's Financial Crime controls, processes and systems. The key workstreams within the FCTP are the Target State Operating Model and Remediation. Other change priorities include response to new regulations (4th EU Money Laundering Directive, Criminal Finance Act, ABC enhancements and the Immigration Act).

As a Financial Crime Project Analyst your main responsibilities will be

* Solving complex business problems and providing practical value-based solutions.

* Problem solving and conducting analysis within the financial crime projects to add value and ensure correct decisions are made.

* Gathering of business requirements and performing business analysis for the financial crime projects and deliveries.

* Reporting and tracking project deliveries.

* Effectively identifies, analyses and resolves problems relating to products, processes, systems or resourcing needs.

* Contributing expertise across the business unit to facilitate change and devise solutions.

* Management of the Banks governance activities to get projects live.

* Providing ongoing maintenance and support to enable the business to optimise the effectiveness of its operation.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Understanding of basic IT architecture and infrastructure.

* Able to organise own workload and meet deadlines.

* Excellent process management and re-engineering skills.

* Ability to analyse data and come up with solutions and recommendations utilising the data.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations.
