We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Project Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes/Bootle on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

The Financial Crime Project manager will be responsible for delivering the Financial Crime business assurance projects which include Payment Screening, Customer Risk Assessments, Transaction Monitoring and Customer Screening.

As a Financial Crime Project Manager your main responsibilities will be:

* Determine the full scale and scope of the assurance projects and the impact that the delivery will have on the business.

* Communicates impacts to all relevant and affected areas and parties.

* Create partnerships with key business areas, ensuring input to and influence over business decisions which may impact the financial crime transformation programme.

* Influence key stakeholders within the Retail Bank & Santander UK subsidiaries up to and including Director Level.

* Clearly communicate to senior management on deliverables and timescales.

* Takes ultimate accountability for all projects managed for financial crime.

* Co-ordinate plans with own and other areas of the business, developing the optimal plan for delivery.

Minimum skills and experience required

* Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a Financial Crime Programme

* Excellent process management and re-engineering skills

* Proven track record of gathering business requirements and advising on improvements

* Able to organise own workload and meet deadlines

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations

* Assurance and/or testing experience beneficial

* Prior knowledge of Customer Screening, Customer Risk Assessment, Transaction Monitoring or Payment screening beneficial

You’ll be based in one of our biggest offices in the UK, right in the heart of Milton Keynes, home to a range of key functions including Marketing, Finance and Risk and conveniently located only a short walking distance from Milton Keynes Central rail station and Shopping Centre. Offering an onsite gym, restaurant, coffee shop and banking facilities, the atmosphere is a vibrant one with plenty of opportunities to socialise and get involved in local community and charity work.



You’ll be working in our Bootle office, easily accessible from major motorways, Liverpool city centre and a short walk Aintree train station. With free onsite parking, restaurant, coffee shops and branch, there’s something for everyone.
