Working as part of a team with the UX Researchers, you will support them in understanding technical business requirements and build prototypes to support usability testing.
Some of the key accountabilities for this role are:
* Technical Design - The delivery of customer ready screens, ensuring that designs meet documented requirements.
* Deliver solutions optimised for target audience, including browsers and devices,
* Provide technical input into prioritisation framework to ensure complexity is understood and factored into the prioritisation process
* Ensure deliverables maintain existing standards, challenging where it is appropriate
* Provide documentation to support development stories for permanent implementation of sucessful tests into production
* Work closely with the wider development community to ensure a consistent approach to design solutions, coding standards and testing to ensure smooth progression through environments to production
* Engage in post implementation analysis to support continual improvement and contribute further optimisation recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have some of the following skills:
Expert in CSS3, HTML5, Java Script and jQuery (or similar) and an Excellent working knowledge of responsive and mobile techniques
Good understanding of web accessibility and testing techniques
Impeccable attention to detail
Understanding of industry trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies,
Good relationship skills - able to operate effectively at all levels of organisation
High level of customer focus and understanding of customer needs
Strategic thinking and problem solving capability
Clear understanding of the regulatory environment in which the business operates
Self motivated and can do attitude with a desire to learn
Relevant experience in front end development role
Track record of delivery clean, light and well documented code,
Experience with google analytics (or similar) - preferred.
