My client is in the very top tier of fintechs that have taken the financial services market by storm. In the space of four short years, the company has gone from launch to 7 million customers in the UK - and they're now planning their international expansion, with the ambition to go live in 10-15 markets in the next three years... and to serve 100 million customers worldwide.
In order to rocket charge their expansion, the business' CMO is looking to hire a global brand manager, who'll directly report in to her. This person will work hand in hand with their international director and local marketing manager and will own large portions of each new market launch. They'll then continue to work hand-in-hand with local teams as they mature in each new market, continually iterating to optimise CPA.
Whilst this role has guardianship for the brand - they dont wan't a rule setter. This person will work collaboratively with each market, fully appreciative that one size doesn't fit all and completely willing to suspend their belief, but also strategically coaching through their previous experience. In addition, whilst the position is brand-led, it's essential that you have a commercial mindset and can talk the language or ROI and CPA.
First and foremost, they're looking for culture fit. The business is extremely dynamic, collaborative and they have a huge thirst to keep learning and making things better. In addition, you have to be just as comfortable getting your sleeves rolled up as you would presenting strategy packs to the CEO.
In terms of practical experience, they need someone who has a track record delivering on a global level and working with local marketing teams. Financial services experience is by no means essential. It would be helpful if you've previously worked in a start up / scale up.
This is an absolutely fantastic role and, as a result, we expect a high volume of applications. It may take a few days to review each profile - thanks in advance for your patience.
