At Amazon Games, we believe that games have the power to connect communities at a massive scale. We are seeking the industry’s best to help us publish our ambitious game portfolio. Join us, and you’ll have the power of Twitch, Amazon Prime, Amazon Advertising, Amazon Retail and AWS to launch and grow live-service games across platforms and devices. You will work alongside talented industry veterans, with key contributors from dozens of titles including Fortnite, League of Legends, Diablo 3, Age of Empires, Bioshock, Borderlands, Kingdom Hearts, and The Sims.

We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and talented Marketing Manager with strong leadership skills and customer focus, and has the ability to lead the global launch of a new IP.
You will set the marketing goals and KPI’s, global strategy, positioning, key messaging and creative and tactical execution of this new IP. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous and fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple locales, teams and levels in the organization.

You will be required to successfully partner with internal Amazon Games colleagues and the wider Amazon org to createmeaningful partnerships to help build awareness, drive purchase intent and engagement.

You are a seasoned marketing leader with cross platform, Free to Play and live ops game marketing experience. You have launched games before, and you understand the success of games-as-a-service is dependent on the passionate game communities we serve. You are committed to building a strong relationship between people that play games and people that make them.

You will draw on your experience of creating successful and innovative marketing campaigns to 9-16 year olds. Your knowledge and expertise of marketing to a younger demographic, brand development, launching new IP, and modern UA practices will help build programs to ignite playerinterest and awareness across the globe. You hold yourself to insanely high standards and exemplify customer obsession.

Within the first year, we expect this Marketing Manager to:
· Develop an outstanding and trusting relationship withinternal and external studio leads
· Own and execute the global marketing plan for this new IP
· Set marketing goals and KPI’s and report against them
· Execute innovative programs with cross functional teams throughout Amazon and Twitch
· Own the day-to-day engagement and alignment with studio and marketing peers
· Manage relationships with internal resources, external agencies and co-promotional partners and help develop and execute marketing programs
· Ensure clear communication and coordination across relevant teams
· Work with the consumer insights and research team to conductregular competitive analysis report and market research
· Created and designed a marketing brand kit to share with globally relevant entertainment IP’s

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA minimum
· Five or more years in consumer marketing
· Two or more years in the PC and/or console game industry
· Excellent presentation skills and communication abilities
· Ability to establish formal processes
· Excellent command of English language (written and verbal)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience of working with toy brands
· Knowledge of UGC and Content Creator platforms
· Proven experience working in a fast paced environment and collaborating with cross functional teams
· Deep understanding of consumer market trends and customer journeys
· Understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels
· Avid gamer with a wide depth of gaming knowledge
· Confident writing and speaking in a second language
