Global Marketing Manager – Premium Spirits

Exciting and challenging opportunity for a smart, commercially savvy, strategic thinker to bring their exceptional marketing skills to the world of premium drinks managing a portfolio of brands with a global presence in multiple markets and travel retail.  Working alongside local market teams, operations and innovation & insight teams, you will take responsibility for brand leadership and P&L delivery – playing a central role as thought leader, brand guardian and the driver of commercial growth.  Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Driving share and revenue growth with clear strategic planning and step-changing, innovative marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Continually reviewing and refining brand positionings and packaging, and working with innovation and insight teams to identify growth opportunities with NPD and EPD.
  • Working with global markets to develop sustainable and successful growth plans, securing local commitment to plans and initiatives.
  • Developing high impact, best in class marketing and brand assets that excite consumers and shoppers and drove long-term brand building.
  • Developing optimal pricing strategies for each brand and sales channel.
  • Building strong productive, trusted relationships with key stakeholders in local markets, production sites, commercial teams and agency partners.

Skills Checklist

  • Proven track record developing clear, effective brand strategies with hands-on experience in the drinks or other FMCG categories.
  • Strong business acumen, able to translate consumer-driven strategies into commercial solutions which work across different geographies and cultures.
  • A creative, agile approach, able to inspire agencies to develop exceptional content for media and digital assets.
  • Exceptional relationship skills: ability to influence and inspire others including agencies, commercial teams and senior leaders.
