What it’s about:

Are you an experienced product manager with a background in education or digital solutions?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Product Manager to work on a flagship learning and assessment product for Cambridge Assessment English.

Reporting to the Head of Higher Education & Adult, you will be leading on the management of a high-profile global assessment product, developing and implementing product strategies to drive sales growth in the higher education and adult sector.


What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with our overseas offices, business and marketing, as well as product owners, you will have responsibility for the management of your product across the product lifecycle.


Key responsibilities:

 Build product strategies, review performance and make decisions to maximise products and opportunities

 Identify and explore new market and product opportunities and lead on the development of market-leading propositions

 Assess commercial viability, develop business cases and manage product P&L

 With the product owner, manage development roadmaps focusing on customer needs

 Ensure business and operational management to successfully grow products

 Define global go-to-market strategies and oversee their implementation, including leading on global pricing and channel development for specified products

 Drive sales to meet agreed global targets

What we’re looking for:

 B2B education / digital business or marketing background

 Experience in product management role or similar with proven track record of delivering growth (5+ years)

 Able to demonstrate experience across full product lifecycle

 Commercial acumen; ability to manage P&L, prepare business cases and use data to make strategic decisions to grow revenue

 Highly collaborative, able to work across a matrix organisation and influence

 Driven to succeed and uses initiative and problem solving to make progress

 Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a marketing or business-related qualification
