Role Purpose

The Graphic Designer will work as part of the digital marketing function within Janssen, reporting into the Digital Strategy Lead, Haematology. The focus of the role will be to partner with the internal business functions, to develop and build creative and compelling assets to tell the story of the haematology brands and Janssen as a company.

The role holder will be responsible for keeping both external and internal messaging within brand and ABPI guidelines, but also following the latest messaging trend curves. The creative media specialist will also be responsible for bringing new creative concepts to the fore within our organisation and deliver new innovative ways of communicating with our customers. This role will be based in the Janssen head office in High Wycombe, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

* Artwork creation: Brochures, adverts, flyers, video’s, social media cards, e-shots and other marketing collateral where necessary
* Artwork alterations following prescribing Information updates
* Manage congress stand design
* Video creation, editing and approval in line with brand strategy
* Developing concepts and executing on multiple projects in a timely manner
* Demonstrating skilful application of design methods and practices
* Utilising knowledge of design, innovative thinking and cultural trends to guide solutions
* Updating existing sales collateral and documents
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
* Fully understand briefs and be able to produce creative ideas from those briefs
* Able to deliver high quality work, in compliance with established procedures and/or protocols, within tight deadlines
* Making informed technical recommendations to designers and product managers
* Liaising with print production companies and take ownership of logistics to meet deadlines
* Advise and deliver on new and innovative communication strategies, and technological advancements in design creation and implementation

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams:

* Communicate effectively and regularly with Account Management teams and Regional Business Managers via verbal and written communication and business meetings to encourage and motivate them, align their digital activities behind the plan and gain feedback
* Deliver digital promotional material to the Field Force, taking the lead on change management initiatives to evolve Field Force implementation of digital strategies
* Contribute to product training and conferences as subject matter expert

Qualifications

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

* Educated to degree level (2:1 class minimum)
* >1-year previous experience in graphic design
* Strong working knowledge of Adobe CC and fully proficient in Adobe InDesign, Adobe illustrator, and photoshop is essential
* Knowledge of Adobe Premium Pro is advantageous
* Interest in technology and digital channels
* Project management experience
* Good understanding of brand hierarchy
* Good understanding of creative workflows
* Basic CSS & HTML advantageous
* Appropriate experience in a marketing communications environment
* A strong contributor to team dynamics in previous environments
* Professional individual with excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to prioritise in pressured situations and communicate effectively during those periods
* Internally focused relationship building skills; experienced in developing effective relationships across a diverse group of partners at the highest levels, in the internal environment
* Demonstrated ability to lead multiple commercial projects successfully
* Ability to analyse, adapt, and drive appropriate change for the dynamic interplay between vision, strategy, tactics and execution
* Proficient in English (oral and written)
* Balance confidentiality
