This is a very exciting senior level opportunity based within one of the biggest names in the legal world. The Head of Client Solutions (UK, US & EMEA) will fulfil a senior strategic role with responsibility for developing and leading the implementation of the firm's clients and sectors strategy, including client targeting for the Alternate Legal Services business.
The role holder will need to build relationships with internal clients to help develop a strong reputation for Alternate Legal Services and identify opportunities for expansion or diversification of products and services provided, including client listening, targeting and thought leadership initiatives. You will also be expected to develop equally strong relationships with key stakeholders, with a particular focus on collaboration with IT, Innovation & Technology, Legal Operations and Business Development. The Head of Client Solutions will work closely with senior management and colleagues in Business Development, to develop a clients and sectors plan, to include market segmentation and client targeting, business and marketing plans and thought leadership to create opportunities for existing and new clients and will lead projects and initiatives to develop and expand the firm's suite of products and services through process and technology driven innovation. Pitches, proposals and tender submissions will form an important part of the role and you will work with the Alternate Legal Services management teams, Partners and BD colleagues, to draft transactional and panel pitches, project manage Alternate Legal Services contribution to tender responses and pitches, provide coaching and feedback to teams and manage the debrief process internally and externally. From a CRM perspective, the successful applicant will manage client feedback processes, project manage and participate in client events and keep abreast and raise awareness of client issues to enable proactive identification of business opportunities. You will also be responsible for leveraging opportunities to optimise the use of firm databases and systems to support the business development strategy and project managing the development of marketing collateral with design and production teams, including oversight of the marketing budget.
Pre-requisites for this role include a strong academic background, allied to proven strategic business development experience gained in another large law or professional services firm, with experience of product design and development being highly desirable. Commercially astute with a demonstrable track record as a business leader and proven skills in business growth and planning with the ability to spot and develop business opportunities, it is essential that the Head of Client Solutions possesses strong stakeholder and people management skills.
