Head of Digital Experience

Elevation Recruitment Group have exclusively partnered with an innovative Yorkshire business that have offices in York, Leeds and Manchester (this role can be based at any of these with some agile working also).

This is a brand new role that has been created and will be crucial to the future development of digital innovation and how the organisation communicates with its customers. You will work closely with the other members of the SMT across Commercial, Marketing and CX and will drive online transformation and ecommerce capabilities.

Key Responsibilities will include:

*Delivering high quality digitally enabled propositions to customers, that improve customer experience, make the organisation more efficient and grow revenues
*Including direct customer facing capabilities such as website, apps and self-service channels, but also enabling capabilities such as data, insights, workflow and apps for colleague
*The role will be a visible advocate for digital enablement and will collaborate to get colleagues and other stakeholders enthusiastic about digital opportunities
*The role will lead and develop the Digital Product team and will blend immediate, mid-term and long-term innovation horizons with relevant levels of confidence in the solutions
*The role will own the vision of how digital propositions fit together, and how they fit with the wider business processes and systems
*The role will sponsor business cases, successfully gaining investment and managing delivery programme for new / enhanced digital products
*Devise, get buy-in to, and deliver the digital product roadmap

Skills and Experience:

*Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
*Proven experience of a track record of developing digital consumer centric product strategies
*Team leadership/management - leading and developing a high performing team
*Significant experience in a digital product management role or equivalent
*Experience defining and implementing continuous product improvement
*Strong understanding of product management processes and tools
*Project management skills and experience
*Problem Solving: Taking a systematic and methodical approach to identifying opportunities and alternatives to develop and implement solutions
*Technical / Analytical: Strong understanding of analytics and the ability to use data to build business cases and drive business recommendations
*Experience of digital ecosystems including Salesforce
