THE ROLE

Topshop Topman Digital Marketing team is at the heart of the leading omni-channel High Street retailer, with the scale to work on a number of exciting betas and initiatives with leading partners like Facebook and Google. We are looking for a passionate, digital marketing expert to lead this team, our strategy and business performance across our digital and performance marketing channels, whilst bringing innovation to our thinking and plans.

Working across both Topshop and Topman brands, and across all Global territories, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a large team of c.20 digital performance focused marketers across Paid Search, SEO, Paid & Organic Social, Social Community Engagement, Programmatic Display, CRM and Affiliates & Influencers.

This individual will lead multiple digital business functions within the TOPSHOP TOPMAN brands while also acting as an advocate and stakeholder for TOPSHOP TOPMAN within the Arcadia Group. This includes working with Senior Stakeholders, IT, Creative, Marketing, and Arcadia Group Digital teams.

DAY TO DAY

* Accountable for the performance of digital marketing investment through traffic, revenue, ROAS and customer measures; seeking to continuously improve returns through efficiency and optimisation.

* Develop and implement and integrated strategy and plan across the marketing channels to deliver customer acquisition, retention and loyalty targets.

* Work with our external partners and agencies to develop innovative trials and solutions.

* Manage £multi-million budgets across marketing channels; planning, phasing and reviewing levels of investment and returns.

* Engage the wider business on the role of and performance of our digital marketing channels. Be the champion for Digital across the commercial, trading, finance, technology and operations teams.

* Define and present Quarterly and Monthly marketing strategy and investment plans to C-Suite as well as deliver other ad-hoc but frequent presentations and business cases proving profitability for the C-Suite.

* Implement best-practices and / or identify new tools or process to maintain or improve the quality of delivery of digital marketing, campaigns, measurement and functionality.

* Work collaboratively with the Brand Marketing and Creative teams to ensure all of our marketing campaigns are joined up, consistent and executed brilliantly.

* Recruit, develop and support the team of talented and ambitious marketers. Supporting them in their own development by providing both technical and personal development plans, coaching and direction.

* What You'll Bring to the Role:

* Digital Marketing leadership experience, preferably working within a high-volume global fashion or retail business.

* Experience leading large, multi-level teams of 20+ colleagues, with the ability to inspire and develop others whilst demonstrating an ability to embed best practice across your team.

* Experience of working with multiple external agencies and partners including Google and Facebook.

* Proven experience working in a highly data-drive retail/eCommerce environment and be able to demonstrate that you can effectively utilise data and analytics to drive growth through marketing activities.

* Have an in-depth understanding of each of the channels within your remit and be able to define the strategic direction for each of these channels.

* High level of comfort with web analytics (preferably Google Analytics) as well as marketing tools such as Google Ads and Search Console, Double Click etc; and marketing analytic tools such as Data Studio, Facebook Audience Insights.

* A commercial mindset is required for this role, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to simplify and effectively communicate complex strategies and technical plans to senior stakeholders.

* Passion for the brands and fashion and a desire to be part of the team leading the new growth plan for the business.

MUST HAVES
