This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior marketing specialist to join the growing world of Litigation Funding and utilise their professional services experience in a slightly different environment that is going through considerable growth.
The role holder will enjoy a broad role covering all areas of marketing and BD and will have a UK and EMEA remit. You will be joining a rapidly growing firm of global experts in legal finance, who support law firms and corporations in the successful resolution of high-value commercial disputes. The successful applicant will work with the CEO and Regional Managing Directors to develop a marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives and will lead all marketing activities for the region including leadership of local marketing resources. You will need to create an annual marketing plan and budget, liaising closely with Regional Managing Directors and Managing Directors to ensure the marketing and sales plans are tightly aligned and mutually supportive, and manage global marketing activities against the plan. Key responsibilities of the role will include the co-ordination of online and print marketing campaigns, creation of all marketing collateral, brand management, maintenance of the company website, offering support for the conference calendar and hosted events and detailed marketing research and analysis. On the BD side you will manage and improve lead generation campaigns, oversee further development of the firms CRM system, support business development trips, contribute to the development of new products and assist in the production of slides and presentation materials to support new business pitches, including content production, key messaging and post presentation de-briefs and reviews.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated and ideally CIM qualified, and will be a highly capable marketing manager, with substantial experience within a marketing role within a law firm or similar the professional services organisation. You will need sufficient experience to establish credibility rapidly with internal clients but should still be on a personal growth trajectory. Robust, resilient, determined and highly organised, with an ability to balance priorities and remain calm under pressure, the Head of Marketing will possess strong project management skills and a good knowledge of utilising and developing CRM and SRM systems. The ideal candidate will have also worked within a fast moving, entrepreneurial organisation in a role that involved not only operating at a strategic level but also managing day to day activities. Previous experience of working in a small rapidly growing organisation would be advantageous.
