The Role: This Head Inbound Marketing Manager is a new position within this growing technology provider.

The objective of the role is to provide highly qualified leads for the sales team whilst being responsible for creating and executing inbound marketing campaigns across email, events and digital channels.

The Head of Inbound Marketing will work with experts to create content and then use this to fill the top of the funnel with opportunity pipeline, setting up nurturing campaigns (Hubspot/Salesforce and Events) and to provide MQL's and SQL's to the sales team.

Responsibilities for the position of Inbound Marketing Manager include:

  • Managing customer retention and acquisition campaigns
  • Generating and qualifying marketing leads
  • Defining what a lead will be for the sales team, and developing the conversion funnel
  • Developing a demand generation marketing strategy to support sales with revenue
  • Working with Hubspot and Salesforce to develop their marketing automation capability
  • Managing and briefing the telemarketing team to further qualify leads
  • Creating an events calendar to supplement the brand awareness and lead generation marketing campaigns

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • At least five years of high-performance Inbound Marketing experience in an international setting (EMEA or U.S)
  • Strong digital experience - in particular LinkedIn and 'owned' source performance (website, social profiles)
  • The ability to create manage and oversee multiple complex inbound nurture flows
  • Lead the development of a coherent demand generation plan based on the strategic plan
  • Strong multichannel campaign experience, ranging from ideation, to execution and optimisation
  • Very strong analytic skills and the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the levers of campaign optimisation
  • Demonstrable experience in creating campaigns based on customer insight/industry trends
  • Lead the development of customer insights required to validate demand-generation plans
  • Understand the fundamentals of paid marketing and be able to demonstrate current insight into what works.
  • Marketed to a senior non-technical audience
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate thought leadership activities and commission content
  • Have a track record of using events to drive demand.
  • Solid experience of a marketing text stack of intermediate complexity with an interest in the area and a view on how to evolve
  • Track record of high-performing outbound email campaigns - and demonstrate knowledge of the latest practises in email marketing
