This opportunity would really suit an internationally minded consumer marketer with a background blending together both brand and performance marketing programmes.
The reason it's arisen is due to a significant re-org of the marketing unit to reflect it's move from country based marketing activity to having a centralised global marketing function.
This is therefore a newly created role, and will be the key figurehead of the team, with oversight and control of all multi-channel campaigns across international territories. Responsible for driving results from these which will include both brand measures and efficiencies in driving product sales by channel.
The channel mix will include both traditional media mix and things like TV or radio, as well as digital channels including content and social.
This will include all asset creation and its execution in all international markets, as well as defining the right media mix to achieve commercial results in each country.
You will have one direct report in the form of a marketing manager, as well as support of both local and internationally based agencies and their respective resource.
This is a role which needs someone who's both creative and analytical in nature - since it will be walking the line between engaging brand creative and driving brand scores in each territory, as well as achieving commercial goals through optimising channel and media mix, looking at marketing effectiveness in direct response campaigns too.
Cultural fit is important
Despite this being a contract position, the business is really big on their culture and needs someone who will fit in well.
They're a start-up that's grown rapidly, but they continue to reflect an anti-corporate vibe. Their offices are cool and trendy with some really unique benefits not often seen.
They don't like red tape or bureaucracy and have achieved great things so far in their journey, becoming one of the key players in their market and a name most people already recognise.
They dress down (so you save money on the dry cleaning bill), and the office has its own bar and roof-top workspace with brilliant views of London too!
They like people who just get stuff done, and do it by bringing people along with them (not stepping on them). The teams you will be working with are all like-minded people who believe in the product, company vision and love the culture.
So if this sounds like something you'd be keen to explore, why not get in touch asap. This role won't be around for long!
